John Walch Obituary
John was born on December 4, 1944 to Alfred & Helen Walch in Vancouver, Washington. He worked on the Railroad from an early age. After his retirement, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, meeting his "railroad buddies" for breakfast, and spending time with his family.
John was an active member of the Valley of Blessing Church. He was a very selfless man who always volunteered to help out at church and anyone that needed a little extra help, including elderly people.
John married Janet on December 13, 1969. He is survived by his wife Janet; daughters Annette (John) Rector of Genesee, Idaho, Melissa (Ben) Kurtz of Omaha, Nebraska and five grandchildren Brandon Kurtz, Harrison Kurtz, Jacob Rector, Andrew Rector, and Isaac Rector. He was preceded in death by his parents Alfred and Helen; sister Diana (Jack) Beeson; brothers David (Dorothy) Walch and Richard Walch.
John loved his family and friends; he will be missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday December 9, 2017 from 10-2 pm at the Valley of Blessing Church, 243 US Hwy. 12 E., Chehalis, WA 98532.
