To the Walley Family:
John and I were very close. We played high school football together in Ridgway and had many adventures during those years. We kept in touch for many years.
John was a fine person with a great sense of humor. I will miss him a lot.
My condolences to his wife Lorraine and to his family.

To the Wally family, sorry to hear of the passing of John.
I grew up in Ridgway and John lived just around the corner from me. Because of our difference in ages (I'm nine years younger) we weren't close friends, but John was one of those neighborhood guys who was so well respected and admired. He was never one of those 'older neighborhood kids' you were afraid of, but instead one who set a great example and who you knew was going to do great things. He was one of those 'cool guys' you idolize and wanted to be like.
I've always wonder what happened to John ... and it sounds like he had a great life. Again, sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear Mrs.Wally,
John and I player football together at Ridgway. I could always count on him to do his best and protect my backside. He had a great sense of humor and smile. My wife, Gail Hartland, was in his class and the two of them got along really well with the same sense of humor.
Even though we haven't seen him in years, we have wonderful memories John.
Our sincerest condolences to the family.

To John's family,
I remember John well. He was such a happy guy, always with a smile on his face. I was a couple of years ahead of him in school. He was a friend of my sister, Debbie. He will be missed by those who knew him.
