I am so sorry to hear of Mr. John's passing. Mr. John and my Dad (Dennis Kaputa) were very good friends for a number of years. When my Dad passed away in March, Mr. John had great stories he shared with me and my family. My Dad looked forward to their outings together. I know they both are up in heaven having a good time together and many laughs!! My sincere sympathy to the entire family.

I have had the pleasure of knowing John since 1976 when I joined the HVRS squad as a junior member at the age of 18. He was a remarkable spirit and enjoyed life to the fullest. I could always rely on John's availability to ride calls from home whenever needed. My wife Carolyn and I had the recent opportunity to visit with John at the squad's race weekend breakfast. God bless you on your last call. You will be greatly missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family. Sincerely, Charles and Carolyn White

To John's family,
We were so sad to learn of John's passing. We would talk on FB once in a while and caught up a couple of weeks ago. So this came a such a shock to us. He and Becky went to School with me and then met again back in the 70's at HVRS. RIP Big John. Prayers are now for your family. God has taken away your pain.
