To Johnnie's family: I was a cousin ( his Mom was my Dad's sister) & remember Johnnie when I was growing up. It's been years since I had seen him, so sorry for your loss! May you hold the memories close to your hearts. He is now rejoicing with Edie & Shelly Rae, may he RIP.

I am honored to have met the acquaintance of a man like my dear brother John and I am greatly saddened that he is no longer with us. News of his passing renewed fond memories of brighter years of worship, study and laughter which I will always treasure.

A man of both simplicity and conviction, John stands out as one of the very finest people I have had a privilege of knowing. I will always miss the delightful conversations we would have over lunch at the church potluck, the Saturday afternoon studies and most of all the genuineness with which he carried out his "Father's Business".

May God bless the memory of that noble life. I look forward to seeing him again at the sea of glass on the shores of the Kingdom which hath no end.
