John Weber Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Apr. 2, 2014.
Living his whole life in Maryland, John David Weber was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. In 1968, John married his high school sweetheart and John and Diane were married for 45 years. John had two children, Mark and Jenny, of whom he was very proud. He was an accountant, a real estate agent, owned his own restaurant, and then completed his career and work fulfillment with a series of enterperneurial ventures in home improvements, framing, and woodworking. He was an avid reader and gardener; and he acquired many cooking and grilling skills in retirement. He enjoyed helping others with his home improvement and mechanical knowledge and made beautiful furniture with his skilled hands In recent years, he enjoyed spending time with and hearing stories about his two grandchildren. Throughout all his ailments over the years, John was a selfless individual who believed in speaking the truth. He was full of both appropriate and inappropriate questions, nicknames, and deep thoughts which many of us will miss. He had a big heart for those he loved, and though he had difficulty expressing it, he loved deeply. We will miss him dearly. He was taken from us quickly, and we hope he is at peace.

John is preceded in death by his parents, Irma Elizabeth Schmidt and John Philip Weber. His is survived by his wife, Marie Diana Weber; his son, Mark D. Weber, MD (Paul) ; his daughter, Jenny W. (Mark) Cotton; his two beautiful grandchildren, Grant and Alyssa Cotton; his younger brother, William Weber, and his faithful sidekick, Gracie.
