I got to know John through talking on CB radios. Many times he and I would trade radios over the years. Both of us loved trading & talking radios for hours. All of our CB radio group will miss Doc's humor and fun loving attitude.

I am a frlend of Docs from long ago. We use to play together back in the early to mid 60's. I remember many times Saturday morning after watching westerns We would end up in the field behind his parents house chasing the cows out there like we were cowboys. The owner would see us and drag us home where we would get in trouble. Me and Doc had lots of fun ba:k then when we were little in Aurora. I only saw him once when we were grown up. May he be in Heaven enjoying the company of family and friends who went before him. May he also enjoy looking down watching those of us still on thiis earth. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of his family and friends.
