I am so sorry I was unable to attend John's memorial. I'm sure it was a comfort to see how many people knew and loved this man. I have known John for decades, and I never saw him without stopping for a warm conversation and a few laughs. I so admire his work with the lamp light pewter and with his music. He enriched our community so much, and I will miss him. My deepest condolences to Jody and family and friends.

It was a true pleasure to get to know John. I met him only two years ago and immediately knew he was a man of integrity and strength -- not to mention such a talented fellow! I enjoyed performing with him in the Jive Tones, even though it for just a short time. Thanks to Jody and John, getting to perform was an experience of lifetime. John will be missed by many but we will see him again because of our faith and hope in the Lord Jesus Christ as OUR Savior!
