John Wepfer Obituary
John J. Wepfer, Sr., age 74, Navy Vietnam War Veteran, Beachmasters Unit; beloved husband of Mary for 50 years. Loving father of Jack (Diane) and Jeff. Devoted grandfather of Ethan (fiancé Grace), Caitlin and Sean. Dear brother-in-law of Dave (Doreen) Wilson and Jim (Jan) Wilson. Uncle of Will and Jenny Wilson.
Funeral Wednesday 9:15am from RICHARD J MODELL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 12641 W. 143rd St., Homer Glen to St. Bernard Church, Mass 10am.
Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery.
Visitation Tuesday 3pm to 8pm.
Proud longtime retired employee of Mi-Jack Products. John loved his family very much, all animals especially his past dogs Amber, Dusty, Smokey and Bubbles. His hobbies were golf, bowling and coaching youth baseball. He loved his old friends and the good times they all had.
In lieu of flowers donations to Holy Family Villa (https://catholiccharities.net/) in John’s memory are appreciated.

Very good friend, brother-in-law, and fellow Beachmaster. I could not find a better person to call my friend. I will dearly miss him. Mary could not have found a better husband.
