John Henry Wilcox

John Henry Wilcox, 80, beloved husband of the late Christine Wilcox, formerly of Antioch, IL, died Saturday, August 24, 2002 in The Woodlands, TX. Mr. Wilcox was born in Chicago, IL. He was the only son of the late John F. and Beatrice M. Wilcox. He served in the United States Marine Corps, 2nd Division and saw extensive action in the Pacific theater. Mr. Wilcox was also with the occupation forces in Japan at the end of World War II. He was employed with The Chicago Northwestern Railroad, he retired in 1983 after 44 years of service. Surviving are three sons, Roger S. Wilcox of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Frederick J. Wilcox of Chicago, IL, and John R. Wilcox of The Woodlands, TX; a daughter, Suzanne E. Clark of Charlotte, NC; a stepson Dale Dvorak of Cranberry, NJ; 15 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
