Johnnie G. Garza, 64, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday Aug. 13, 2002 at his residence in Ingleside after a long illness. He was born in Benavides, Texas and had been a resident of Sinton for six years and moved to Aransas Pass in 1961. He then moved to Ingleside where he had resided. he was an Army veteran and had been the operator of a heavy equipment unit at Reynolds Metals Company. His survivors include: his wife, Natalie G. Garza of Ingleside, Texas; Three daughters, Natalie Garza of Corpus Christi, Texas, Geneva Garza and Anita Garza both of Ingleside; One brother, Arnoldo Garza of Corpus Christi; Two sisters, Geneva Cantu of Sinton, Texas and Gloria Galvan of Rosenberg, Texas; Two grandchildren, Ramiro Castillo, Jr. and Joshua Sipila. A rosary will be recited at 7:00pm, Thursday, August 15, 2002, at the Ritchea-Gonzales Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 9:00am, Friday, August 16, 2002, at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Sinton with Father Thomas Weller as celebrant.
