Johnny Jones Obituary

Age 52 of West Carrollton, passed away Tuesday August 27, 2013 at Sycamore Hospital, Miamisburg. He was born June 29, 1961 in Middletown to Richard L. Jones of Dayton and his late mother, Martha (Fox) Jones. In addition to his father, Johnny is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rhonda G. (Massie) Jones; his sons, Dustin John (Cassie) Jones of Virginia Beach, VA and Jacob Edward (Tiffany) Jones of West Carrollton; his grandson, Cannon Edward Jones; siblings, Kenny (Lynn) Jones of Huber Heights, Edward (Charlotte) Jones of Beavercreek, Lou Jones of Miami Township and Rodney (Marcella) Jones of Miamisburg; mother-in-law, Mildred Massie of Miami Township; brothers and sisters-in-law, Doug (Michelle) Massie of Beavercreek, Frank (Kelly) Massie of Miami Township and Merrill (Ronda) Massie of Kettering and best friend Jeff and Sarah Peters as well as numerous other extended family and friends. Johnny was a 1980 graduate of Centerville High School and immediately enlisted in the US Navy retiring as a First Class Petty Officer who served during the Gulf War until September 2000. Johnny enjoyed yard work, television, puzzles, model cars and time with family. His family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday, August 29, 2013 at Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home, Miamisburg. Funeral services will begin 2:00 PM Friday, August 30, 2013 also at the funeral home and officiated by Pastor Mark Brooks. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton with military honors. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Gebhart-Schmidt-Parramore Funeral Home at 508 E. Linden Ave., Miamisburg, OH 45342.
