KING Johnny Ralph King, 83, of Jacksonville passed away Jan 4 after a brief illness. One of 7 children, Johnny was born 1/25/31 to Major Miles King, Sr. and Annie Harris King in Brunswick, GA. A decorated Korean War veteran, he retired from the Gillman Paper Company in St. Mary's, GA where he worked as a lab chemist. Johnny was preceded in death by daughter, Wanda Laneth King (infant), and son Johnson Leon Lee King. He is survived by son Joseph (Brenda), brother Emerson (Elsie), grandsons Brandon, Ian, Johnny, Jeremy, Joseph, and Joshua; granddaughter Lawanda, several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. A memorial service will be held Sat, 1/17/15 at 11am, at Believer's Joy Worship Center, 13066 Yellow Bluff Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32226. Please Sign the Guestbook @ Jacksonville.com

My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Johnny's passing will leave a large void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. He had a heart and personality as big as he was. R.I.P. Johnny, you will be missed.
