Johnny Marez Obituary
John was born April 26, 1943, in Ontario, Ore., a son of Alex and Mary Cordova Marez. John grew up in Nampa where he attended school, then moved to Anaheim, Calif., to pursue a career in auto body. He moved back to Nampa and began working for Morrison-Knudsen, where he then moved to Africa for a few years and worked as a foreman mechanic.
John returned home in 1984 where he met and married Sally Meza of Nampa. They bought their first home in Nampa and started their auto body business together, then began their family and had three beautiful children. Later on in 1992, John and Sally divorced, but still remained friends.
John was known by everyone for his big smile and his sense of humor. He had a love for traveling, hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sabrina and AndrewWiebe, son, Jason Marez and daughter, Tonia Marez of Nampa; his sister, Irma "Pat" Scott of Boise; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Hazel Marez, Pete and Elsie Marez and Henry and Virginia Marez; and many nieces and nephews.
Everyone who knew John will love and miss him dearly.
