Obituary:

Johnny Edger Miller, a loving, patient, understanding, wise, and funny man, passed away on April 21, 2024, in Sweetwater, Tennessee, at the age of 75.

Born on November 22, 1948, in Menlo, Georgia, Johnny proudly served in the Army for 4 years and was a Vietnam veteran. He then pursued a successful career as a Marine and automotive paint and body Warranty Tech, Truck Driver, and Dairy Man.

Johnny will be remembered for his dedication to his country and his hard work in various fields. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Linda Miller, his daughters Chrissy Miller, Becky Smith, Jennifer Townsend, his sons John Miller, Rusty Miller, his granddaughters Cindy Kile, Lily Jaynes, Lindsey Miller, his grandsons Dillon Kile, Alec Jaynes, Johnathan Miller, Justin Crawford, his great granddaughters Haley Zimmerman, Maci Zimmerman, Everleigh Dockery, Arya Jaynes his great grandsons Remington Kile, Braden Townsend, Ayden Townsend, his sister Debbie Miller, his brothers Randy Miller, James Miller, Michael Fowler, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Johnny is preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth Fowler, his sister Kay Hurd, his Brothers Ray Miller, Jeff Miller, his nephew Jamie Miller, and his stepfather Cantrell Fowler.

A ceremony to honor Johnny's life and service will be held at the East Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery on May 3, 2024, at 10 am. Johnny will be laid to rest with military honors.
