This news is hard. I grew up with Johnny and he was like the big brother I never had. He was always laughing and smiling except on the basketball court. We laughed, fought, and laughed some more but knew we had each others back. Unfortunately, as we grew up, we lost touch. Now, Johnny has finished his race and is at rest. To Charles, Niecey, Reuben, Reggie, San, Ginnie and his loved ones...May the Lord God fill your emptiness with his grace and mercy. May you remember the good times and spirit he left in his daughters and those he loved.
Rest in Peace, my Brother.

So sad to learn that Johnny now sleeps and rests from the labors of this earth. May he rest in the presence of the Almighty Master. Condolences extended to this great family. Johnny will be remembered for many things, especially his game of basketball and friendly smile. Much live extended !!
