Jon Haugen Obituary
After HS, Jon attended the DetroIt Lakes Vocational School, then joined the Navy where he spent 4 years in Texas as a Jet Engine Mechanic. After moving to Las Vegas, Jon was employed for 42 years as A Mechanical Engineer by the Las Vegas Desert Springs Hospital. Jon received numerous awards while maintaining the air conditioning system and was also required to sit in on open heart surgeries to make certain their equipment functioned properly. In 2006 Jon was ordained into the Priesthood of the Church of the Latter Day Saints.
The family is sincerely grateful for the help and support given by his Very Special Friends MarJean Heikke, Richard Sanders, Nadya & Scott. Jon was blessed to have many friends and good times at Wild Fire. Family and Friends are invited to attend his Memorial with Full Military Honors at the Boulder City Veterans Cemetery at 2pm on 4/29/25.
