Dear Maureen and Family,
We are saddened by the news of Jon's premature passing.
We hold our memories of happy times together close to our hearts. Jon was present as one of the 6 witnesses at our wedding celebration 31 years ago.
He will be forever in our memories. He gifted the world his sweet spirit with his great sense of humor and talents galore.
We wish you all long life and apologize that we are unable to be present at the Memorial due to Irwin's ill health.
With our loving wishes,
Carol and Irwin Rosenstein

I have been going to Landmark for a few years and always had the pleasure of seeing his precision and quality at work, his generosity and kindness to us all, he was truly a man that connected to and with people and will be missed. His memory will live in all of us. Lots of love and peace to you Mo. Diana & Jacob

I am sooooo shocked and saddened to learn of Jon's passing. He was such an amazingly creative, loving, and generous sprite of a person !!!! He always shared his quick wit and made me smile and feel good about the world. Whenever I sent him an email, he always had a witty retort to share back with me... I looked forward to getting them to see what he was going to create!
As they say, when they made Jon, they threw away the mold - he was truly one of a kind and I am finding it hard to believe that he is gone from this world. What a bright shining star he was - so full of hope and goodness! His positive energy will be greatly missed. I will cherish my very fond memories and know that you, Maureen, and everyone else will too !

So many happy memories of watching Sha-Na-Na with my family as a child: thank you, Jon.

Goodnight, Jon. Grease for peace. Maureen, his memory will be for such an incredible blessing for so many people. I love you so much.
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)

So long dear Jon! My wife, Sabine and I send you, Maureen, our love and sympathies! On several occasions I ran into Jon while running at the Rose Bowl, and it was always, always, a joy to see him and chat a little! You will be missed dear friend! When Jon and the gang came over to see us on Boxing Day, one of the things we talked about was Jon's preparing for a 5K and a 10K, and how he was now old enough for the age 70-99 division.
"I came in second," he said of his last run, and where he placed in that division. "I felt like a kid."
All those years ago, when Jon and Maureen were getting ready for their wedding, Jon scooped me up to go with him to get a glass that was wrapped in a towel and which Jon stomped on at the right moment during the ceremony. It took us awhile to find the right glass, Jon commenting that "we'd better get back soon," and adding his usual witty aside. Jon always kept things light. His telephone answering machine message: "I'll call you back . . . when I do."

Jon was such a wonderfully kind man and a great friend. I was exceptionally inspired by his contributions as his wife's right-hand man in Landmark's Self Expression Leadership Program.
Jon was also a great teammate in LLS Team In Training. Jon will forever be remembered as a gentleman, a conscientious contributor, and a loving husband to his wife, Maureen.
Men like Jon propell others to greatness. He will be missed and loved by all who were fortunate enough to know him.

For me, Jon was like a sprite - a lively, imaginative, humorous, loving, almost other-worldly being. And he stood for a world that works for everyone, everywhere and pursued that vision with quiet dedication. It's not just me that will miss him - the world will miss him.
