When he was writing his biography of Kinsey and I my biography of writer Glenway Wescott, we exchanged very helpful notes, and we hit it off immediately as friends. I saw him on his visits to NY and on my visits there. What an extraordinary man, humorous but courageous. No one else wrote so candidly. Blessings, Jonny.
