Jonathan M. Hackett

Jonathan Michael Hackett, affectionately known as Jonny, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the age of 3. Born October 7, 2017, in Weymouth, to parents Tanya and Robert Hackett of Plymouth, Jonny was an energetic little boy with intelligence that exceeded his years. He loved being outdoors, running, riding bikes, and cruising around on his toy four-wheeler. Jonny had a special relationship with his Mommy and Daddy was his hero. His big brother, Robert Hackett Jr., was his best friend. Jonny's adorable little smile and happy demeanor was enough to put a smile on anyone's face. In addition to his parents and brother, Jonny is survived by a large extended family, beloved grandparents, Nina and Kevin Hackett of Plympton, Janet Heffernan and her husband Dave of Bridgewater, Wayne Chafe of Plymouth; uncles and aunts, Jason Chafe and his wife Jen of Halifax, Alicia Dunn and husband Randy of Norwalk, Conn., Kerri Hackett of Plympton, Norah Rowbottom and her fiance Mike Tassinari of Carver and Sarah Rowbottom of Salem. Jonny also leaves behind cousins, close friends and his family pets, Cam and Leo. Funeral arrangements will be under the care of the Bartlett Funeral Home, 338 Court Street, Plymouth. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 29, from 4-8 pm. A funeral Mass will be at St. Marys Church, 313 Court Street, Plymouth, on Friday, July 30, at 10:30 am. Interment will immediately follow at Cedarville Cemetery in Plymouth.
