I knew Jon when we were in grade 6 and all the years of school that followed. He always had his own style and few people are as kind and gentle as he was with dogs, cats, small children and other creatures who need comforting.
I lost touch with him in later years, but never forgot him. Never will. I am sure it is a great shock and loss for his students, family and friends. It is for me. My sincere condolences.

This is a tremendous shock. Even though it has been many years since I saw Jon I thought of him often.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. He will be missed.

We were all shocked to here about Mr Latimer's passing. My son, Sean, enjoyed being in his 5th grade class. Sean also enjoyed playing on the Sexsmith volleyball team with Mr Latimer coaching until his recent passing. Mr Latimer will be sadly missed. Our condolences to the entire family.
