Jonathon Scott Jones Jonathon Scott Jones, 24, of American Fork passed away Sunday, August 14, 2005. He was born January 21, 1981 in Las Vegas, NV to John and Laurie Eyres Jones. Jonathon attended school in American Fork and graduated from Lone Peak High School in 1999 where he was a member of the wrestling team. He later attended UVSC and received an Associates Degree in Business. He served an LDS Mission in Santiago, Chile from 2000-2002. Jonathon enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, soccer, and running. He especially loved playing with his nieces and nephews and adored each one of them. Jonny always put others feelings and problems before his own and will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his mother, Laurie of Orem; father, John of Spokane, WA; siblings: Jeremy (Janelle) Jones, American Fork; Kimberly (Ryan) Armitstead, Pleasant Grove; Brittney (Jimmy) Branin, Pleasant Grove; Tara (Jace) Lundblade, Pleasant Grove; seven nieces and nephews; grandmothers: Luzon Washburn, Provo; Lillian Snyder, Provo; Kay Gustafson, Spokane; grandfather, Ron Jones, Oklahoma City. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. in the Orchard Ward Chapel, 828 South Locust Avenue, Pleasant Grove where friends may call from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove. I was saddened to hear about the loss of Jonny and can't imagine how much harder it must be for your family. I wish you the best in these trying times. I thought that Jonny was THE absolute cutest guy school. He could put a smile on anyone's face and it hurts me to know that he is gone. I wish now that I could have gotten to know him better...
