Jordan Patrick Greene
January 13, 1984 – May 21, 2015.
Jordan Patrick Greene, 31, passed away unexpectedly on May 21, 2015 and is now in his heavenly home with the Lord. Jordan was born in Ft. Worth, Texas to David and Julie (Johnson) Greene growing up in a close knit community bringing laughter and joy to his family and a host of close friends. Jordan attended Grapevine-Colleyville schools and graduated from Colleyville-Heritage High School in 2002 where he enjoyed athletics and started on the varsity football team. Jordan continued his education at the University of Oklahoma in Norman graduating in 2007. During his college years, Jordan took great pride in being a member of the OU Sooner football team. As an avid golfer, he enjoyed spending many hours with friends and family in fun competition.
Following college, Jordan worked for Devon Energy on projects in both Texas and Oklahoma. While at Devon, Jordan represented the company in the community participating in service projects and achieved certification as a Registered Professional Landman. Jordan married Lauren (Melton) Greene in 2010 and was the incredibly proud Daddy to little Gunner Knox Greene. The joy he felt being a Daddy to young Gunner was known by all those he encountered.
As the second of four sons, Jordan brought great happiness to his parents as a loving son and friend. We miss his laugh which was his own. To his brothers, Jordan was full of pride always loyal and protective. A lifetime of special memories shared between four brothers will bring comfort in the days and years ahead.
Our deepest thanks to all for your kindness, prayers and support as we mourn the loss of Jordan. Although our time together was not long enough, we are blessed that Jordan was in our life and know there will be a day with no more tears when we will be united. You are with us always.
Jordan was preceded in death by his grandfather, James Patrick Johnson. Survivors: Wife, Lauren (Melton) Greene; Son, Gunner Knox Greene; Parents, David and Julie Greene; brother, Dustin David Greene and wife, Mary; brother, Brandon Johnson Greene and wife, Tiffany; brother, Kevin Thomas Greene and wife, Christy; grandmother, Anna Sue Johnson; aunt, Penny Hill and husband Alan; nephew, Jackson Thomas Greene; niece, Julia Katherine Greene; cousin, Casey Alan Hill; cousin, Colin James Hill and wife Caitrin; and countless friends.

I met you both at the TCF conference in Dallas. I am sorry about the circumstances for our meeting, but both of you made such an impression on me with your brave venture at the conference in such a raw part of your grief journey. I regret that I did not get your email address or other contact information. Be kind to yourselves as this is a long hard journey. It is filled with both hope and mystery.

Lauren, Gunner and all of Jordan's family. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers constantly. We pray that God leads you in a direction of peace and acceptance during this extremely sad time.
He will be deeply missed as a co-worker and friend here at Universal Field Services and also by all of the land owners fortunate enough to have worked with Jordan. He was always such a joy to be with, that smile brightening any room into which he walked.
With much love from the UFS family to yours,
