Roberge, Jordan Maguire died unexpectedly at the Hennepin County Medical Center on March 3rd. Jordan was born on December 23, 1974 in Exeter, NH. He is the dear son of Paul V. Roberge and Sheila of Exeter; brother of Matthias and wife Erika of Lee, NH and Jenny and husband Ethan Martin of Denver, CO. He was the loving, fun uncle of Ella, Shepard and Harrison Roberge of Lee, NH. He leaves behind his aunts, uncles and cousins of the Roberge, Rockwood, Maguire, Allen, Gosslin and Sherman families. He will be missed by his dear friends and colleagues in Minneapolis and New Hampshire.
He was a graduate of Exeter Area High School and attended Clark University. Jordan was a Senior Manager at HealthPartners Headquarters in Minneapolis. He was on the board of the University of St. Thomas Multiculturalism on Workplace Inclusion since 2007, and in 2017 was presented with the Friend of the Forum award by the mayor of Minneapolis. He played an important role on various committees and was a leader for Twin Cities PRIDE and on the Twin Cities HRC Planning Committee and the board of the Gay Men's Chorus.
Jordan will be be remembered for his kind and generous heart, his warmth towards all, his uplifting spirit, and his laugh. In honor of Jordan's advocacy and generosity, in lieu of flowers Jordan's family created a Gofundme which will be used to support non-profits and causes that Jordan was passionate about. "Being involved in a non-profit, volunteering in the community...whatever you can do, you can made a noticeable difference." A celebration of his life will be held in his honor at a later date.
