Jordan Wenger

RUSHVILLE - Jordan "Jordi" Nikole Wenger, 17, of Rushville passed away at 7:47 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2006, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville as the result of injuries sustained in a four-wheeler accident.

She was born Aug. 23, 1989, in Macomb, the daughter of Kenneth and Nikki (Herbster) Wenger.

Surviving are her parents of Rushville; sister, Breiane Wenger of Rushville; paternal grandmother, Betty Sargent of Rushville; maternal grandparents, John and Norma Herbster of Rushville and Marsha and John Foster of Hurst; great-grandmother, Doris Bedenbender of Rushville; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Paul Wenger, Robert Bedenbender, Paul and Virginia Acker, Ezra and Edna Wenger and Fritz and Sade Herbster.

Jordan was a senior at Rushville-Industry High School, where she was a member of the girls track team in the shot put and FFA. In grade school, she played on the girls basketball team.

She was a dishwasher at Deb and Di's and Brown's restaurants and a drywall installer for Freedom Drywall.

She attended the Free Methodist Church in Rushville.

She loved little children and her grandparents, going to mudslings, four-wheeling, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, and mechanics.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Free Methodist Church in Rushville, with the Revs. Rob Kirkham and Rosalee Ross officiating. Interment will be in the Palm Cemetery west of Rushville. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday at the Wood Funeral Home in Rushville.
