Tribute For Jorg T Becher

Jorg T Becher, 63, of New Haven, Connecticut , passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025. Born on May 3, 1962, in Portugal Amora, Jorg lived a life marked by service, compassion, and an unwavering devotion to his family and community.

He was in the United States NRM INC for 3 years working on the USS based in Northern California, based out of San Francisco. After his work, Jorg went to college in the evenings and earned his Bachelor's degree in natural resources management from Hofstra University. He worked on his late dad's Timber farm ever since.

He was an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with his many friends and colleagues. Jorg was a kind, loving man who never met a stranger. He had a great sense of humor who would often light up a room. He would offer such great advice to his son and grandchild and was always looked up to.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. Jorg was adored by all who knew him, his quick wit, big heart, and steadfast loyalty left an impression that will not be forgotten.

Jorg had a deep love for animals and cherished visiting local animal shelters with his son. His compassion extended to his faith community, where he volunteered at Saint Raphael's Catholic Church for over 30 years. He also found great joy in gardening and cooking, sharing these passions generously with family and friends. Jorg's warmth, kindness, and dedication will live on in the countless lives he touched. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.

He is survived by his family Son (Enoch Becher) Ball of Chandler, AZ; Dana (Paul) DiSands of Coatesville, PA; and Grandma (Tara Becher) of Frankfurt, Germany , Grandson (Wesley Becher) of Frankfurt Germany.

He is survived by his friend Thomas from St. Augustine, Florida , Miss Linda Downing from Clearwater, Florida and many friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 08, 2025, from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, at Trinity Cremation Service Home ,453 Shippan Ave, Stamford. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, August 09, 2025, at 11am, also at the Trinity Cremation.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations can be made to the UNC Chapel Hill Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit and to the American Lung Association at Lung.org.
