Jorge Camacho Perez Obituary
Jorge was borne in Callao, Peru on 30 July 1928 and lived a full and adventurous life, traveling in the Amazon, Europe and the Americas, and eventually settling in South Florida.
It is impossible for words to convey the goodness, compassion and generosity that he embodied but those fortunate enough to know him feel truly blessed.
Jorge lived a life in service of others and will remain in our thoughts, memories and hearts forever as an example of the compassion, love, and wisdom we all strive to emulate. We will all cherish forever his humor, love, gentleness and saintly ways.
He is survived and loved not only by his wife Angelica and all his children, Anita, Lenina, Jorge and Angie, 9 grand-children and 5 great grand-children but by all his extended family and the countless lives he touched and helped with his generous nature and selfless consideration – even to those he did not know.

Well; Pa, you were indeed the first - the first - our families founding father in Florida, for directly, or, indirectly we all came here because of you. We came from the North, the South, the East and the West. You were generous, kind and loving, so very welcoming. Generous above all, because you offered your daughter's hand to me in marriage. Leni and I are so very happy, complete, with our children and now your fifth great grandchild, Lilyann, a new beginning. All our beginnings have sad but inevitable ends. My darling father, how I long to see your noble, loving face, to be close to you. You have left a void in my heart that will remain with me forever. My heart is broken without you. You meant so much to me and I wish you were here so I could tell you just how much I love you. Your wonderful sense of humor, your generosity, your kindness were only a tiny speck of the great man you were. What can I say about the man who gave me life and showed me how to live it. You showed me how to be a great parent and I raised my children by your example. You are my hero, my friend, my teacher, my beloved father. Thank you for your being, you leave a most marvelous family and legacy. You will live on in my heart and I will miss you for the rest of my life. I love you forever, your loving daughter, Lenina

Pa was a wonderful, caring, generous man, loved by everyone he touched. Always willing to help anyone, anyway he could. Always giving and never expecting anything in return. He brought us laughter, joy and happiness. His boundless generosity helped so many, and his honesty, integrity, and kindness set an example for us all to follow. He taught us to love and we will always have that love for him.
His life was spent in pursuit of doing well by everyone and he never hesitated to make personal sacrifices to benefit others.
Pa's presence will be painfully missed, but the legacy of his love and compassion will continue to live on in our hearts and minds forever.
He made the world a better place. He was truly the best of men.

Your Dad and also your Mother were such a big part of my childhood growing up in Sunrise, Florida. Ang, I think I was at your house more than my own down the street. He was truly like the Dad I did not have when I was young. Such great memories I have of your Dad and some were quite funny and we will have to remember them together soon. I am so sorry to the whole family for your great loss. He was loved by so many and I know you will have never ending wonderful memories of him.

My condolences and prayers of comfort for the family. Mr. Camacho was a man of stellar character; his compassion and humor will be missed by so many. I will never forget how 'Ma' and 'Pa' took in my daughter as a grandchild during the holidays we spent in South Florida. They could never know how much that meant to be a part of this wonderful family. I also recall the paper fights instigated by Mr. Camacho. He would try to look innocent, but you could tell how much he enjoyed starting the paper fiasco. He was interesting and interested in everything and everyone. Some of the best conversations I have ever heard occurred around him. His passing is the end of a wonderful era, and I mourn his loss.

My beloved father, I will forever miss your incredible presence. You had such a joy for life. I have beautiful memories of our family together laughing, eating, talking, just living and supporting each other. You gave us the support of a family that was always there in good times and to help us through the bad, I have passed that on to my children and the love continues to grow. You are one of the most giving people that I have ever met. Whatever you had you would share with someone that had less. You helped every relative that needed a little lift to get on their feet and I know everyone that you touched with your kindness will forever be grateful to you. I myself am grateful for the love, the encouragement, the good times, the support and laughs that you blessed me with. You have helped me become the strong person that I am today. I will love you until the day I die and I know you will always be there just as before loving us, protecting us and giving us standing ovations when you are proud. I love you Papa.
