Jorge De La Garza Obituary
He was a native of San Antonio, TX and worked for Altec Industries.
He is survived by his mother, Catherine Cundiff of Elizabethtown; his father, Jorge De La Garza of Arlington, TX; one sister, Maria De La Garza and her daughter Marilyn of Newport, KY and a brother, Marc De La Garza of Tyler, TX.
The funeral will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and continue after 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

I remember when we worked at Sears. I remember Jada introducing us and you letting me borrow your 2 Cellos CD.
I miss when we hung out at the park and walked around Peddlers Mall.
I also remember when a few months after we left Sears, we met up and Steak and Shake and chatted about everything that was going on in our lives and you bring very happy.
I remember us planning to go back to Steak and Shake and the time I was feeling down and you sent me pictures of Giraffes to cheer me up.
I miss you and you'll never be forgotten.

Jorge was one of the most caring people I have ever known It was such a pleasure to work with him daily .He wasn't my son but I loved him as if he was mine Prayers for the Family &friends He will be greatly missed He was so ambitious and worked so hard to accomplish his goals and always thinking of others .Im gonna miss that big smile ❤

Jorge was an amazing guy. So sweet. So kind. So gentle. I'd always remember him always giving the best hugs and having a good time no matter what we were doing. Whether it was Black Friday rush at Sears or just chilling with friends. I miss him so much. This world will never be the same without Jorge. He will ALWAYS be missed.

Jorge was the absolute best person I've ever known. He was always there for me and countless others. He will be missed for all the rest of my years. He was definitely family. Jorge, Charlie Bronson's always got rope.

I want to send my love and prayers to Jorge's family and friends. He was one of the funniest guys I worked with in Sears. I remember one time we met up and walked ALL around E'town AND once around Freeman lake. It was fun but we got eaten up by bugs. I remember that I had a really bad sun burn that hot summer day, I also remember he wouldn't leave it be. I also remember having fun and meeting up at Steak and Shake every once in awhile to catch up after we left the Sears family.
All of my memories of him and experiences with him have been pleasant ones. He was a great guy and a really good friend. You could call him or text him at any time, and he would get back with you as soon as he could. If you ever needed advice or help with anything, he would be there as soon as possible. He was very reliable guy and all around good friend. I know I will always hold him close and dear to my heart...
He will be missed...
