Another year has passed and much has happened with our lives, and with the world in the 7 years that have gone by since your passing. However, as we go about our lives, subtle reminders of you are always with us. Whether it be the birds landing in the pond at the park behind your old house, or a small plane flying overhead, we still feel your presence in those simple things. I have added a photo of the little brook you used to exercise by behind your place, and another of Mom, who still walks through that same park along that same brook thinking of you daily. I may have sold our plane last year, but the memories and crazy adventures live on in fond memories. Thank you for the daily reminders that keep you in our thoughts.
Your loving son,
John

The old adage, "time flies" is a true understatement as 6 years have now passed us by since you could no longer stay with us and moved on to the place that we will all share one day. I still think of you whenever I am on my own, talking a walk, or out in nature. I wish that I could share all of the things that have happened with us and the world since you passed, but I am hopeful that you are somehow still watching and witnessing everything going on around us. I guess that´s why they say love is eternal. This March I made the decision to sell our plane. That was the one place where we shared our closest times and flying was our passion. It was a heartbreaking decision, but it was time to let it go. My biggest fear is that as the years continue to race by, the memories will fade. Perhaps they will simply turn into feelings of peace and a sense of calm. A random smile brought on by your presence rather than a memory. Either way, you will live on in all of us. Love you, Tato.

Deda (grandpa) always told me “be good”
It didn’t work but I appreciated his suggestions. I liked when he shared his specialty steak with me and garlic bread. It’s the little things we remember and cherish, thank you deda I love you very much. May You Rest In Peace.

It’s been 5 years since your passing, yet I’m still often reminded of you in day to day experiences. Whether it’s the Cardinal that regularly lands on the tree right outside the kitchen window, or the small planes that every so often fly over the house. It gives me momentary pause to reflect on the time we spent together despite how quickly it all went by. I still remember many years ago climbing to the top of the “Tower of Babel” with you during a road trip to Morraine lake near Lake Louise. I must have been about 12 and we did it early in the morning while mom was still at the little motel by the lake. I was terrified as we scrambled up the rocky cliffs and you pulled me up some of the ones I couldn’t reach. Well, a couple of years ago I went back up in my own. The memory of that climb was so vivid that it felt like you were still there with me.This was the view that we hadbreathtaking! I hope that you continue to watch over us and always remain in our thoughts.

It’s hard to believe that you’ve been gone for 4 years. However, your presence is often felt at your favourite spot near the pond where the ducks & geese gather. As they take off, land, and fly over head, mama & I are quite sure that you’re there right along side them. You are as free as they are. That gives us much comfort. Love Dana

Even though 4 years have passed since you left us, I am still reminded of you whenever I watch the birds or hear a plane fly over. Time relentlessly marches on, but the memories remain. I look forward to the next time we can go flying together. Love you.

Another year has passed us by since you left us, but I still sense your presence everytime I watch the birds fly or I gaze from an airplane window free from the hurried world below. Time stands still whenever I take our plane to the skies. I see the beauty of the world below that we once shared together and know that the seat beside me really isn't empty. It's now a part of you where we can meet again and share our passion. The other day I watched the beauty of the sun extinguish below the horizon, and much like your life, felt comfort in knowing that this sunset was really just a sunrise in another place. Thank you for this gift....I love you Tato...Jenda

2 years ago today you left us to go explore the heavens beyond where the plane could take you. Today the plane took me to the edge of those heavens as far as it could go. It felt effortless today because I could feel your hands at the controls....thank you for taking me there and passing your passion on to me. I will never lose that and can't wait until we can fly again together....I love you Tato....Jenda

A year has gone, but you are not forgotten.
You said when it was time for you to go, you would salute and say farewell.Today we salute you. Hope you are still doing aerobatics in the sky. We look up whenever an airplane passes over us and we wonder, is this Ddo showing us a sign? Fly on and enjoy the flight!❤

It's been a year since you flew away, but I know that you are still keeping an eye on us. Although you can't tell any more stories in words, you have made your presence known through nature. The geese by the pond, the rainbow in the sky, and the blue sky that were your eyes, are some of the things that tell us you are still around. You will always live within us. Love your daughter, Dana

Its been one year without heating up some salami, or watermelon or really anything that goes you wanted me try, and I have to say you were right all this time about it being better warm. I miss watching you do your crazy exercises around the park, and exactly proportioned breakfasts, but hope youre enjoying as much garlic up there as you did here. All my love always
