I just found out after all this time that Joe passed. We were together in early 2000 and friends for years. We survived 9/11 as we flew back from Boston a mere 12 hours before. I thought he would always be in my life and am stunned that he is gone.

Joe - I miss you dearly. I can sincerely say that I have never met anyone with such a personality and outlook on life that has touched me as much as you. And I doubt I ever will. I still seek strength from you on hard days. My heart breaks that I cannot reach you personally. But even though you are not here physically, I feel your presence and carry a piece of you with me. I look forward to the time when we can laugh, hug, argue, and sit in silence with each other again.

I remember watching him perform in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. I got his autograph at the ripe old age of 12 & fell madly in love with him :) We were each others' very first kiss and shared the Powell Middle School experience together for a time. I have lovely fond memories and pictures of Joe. My deepest condolences for your loss.

I worked with Joe on Nurse Jackie. He was a beacon of light. Always smiling. Never had an unkind thing to say about anyone. Thank you Joe... For always putting a smile on my face. You will be missed brother.

Joe was one of my first boyfriends when I was 17, he was 19. We had so much fun hanging with our friends and just joking around, watching movies. We also grieved together at the loss of a friend who was 17 back then. Joe made everyone smile and laugh. He intentionally called my mom by a new name every time he saw her, pretending to have forgotten her actual name, Sue. I wish I had gotten to talk to him in the last few years. Had been about three. Will never forget him. Have many photos of us from teen and early twenties if family is interested. Bless you.
