Joey, My friend from the time we were just little kids. I still remember you coming over and introducing yourself to me and my family when we moved into the neighborhood. You would always come to see me, even if it meant you had to stand outside my bedroom window to talk. You and I used to talk for hours. lol.. I was always so scared to ride on your dirt bike because if my moma found out, I would've been in a ton of trouble but you always talked me into going riding and we had so much fun (minus the mud) and you always got me back home in time so that I never got caught. haha..Even after I left home every time we saw one another you'd always hug me and tell me you loved me. You don't know how many people that I've ran into through the years that would say I saw Joey Beeson the other day and he said to tell you hey and call him sometime. You don't know how much I'm gonna miss that! You were one of my only truly dear friends that I could tell anything. You are one of a kind Mr. Joseph Parker Beeson! Thank you for always being my friend and looking out for me when we were young and when we got older. You and your family were always good to me and I've never forgotten it! I look forward to seeing you and your beautiful smile again one day. Jean and Mr. Beeson, I don't know what to say other than my heart breaks for you and your family. You raised one of the finest men that I've ever known! I love you my friend forever!!!

Joey....I'm so honored to have known you. It has been a few years since we have seen each other but every time we would cross paths you were always cheerful no matter what life had handed to you. I remember my dad cooking steaks for you and your brother when you were bag boys at Cedar Lodge. I'm guessing that right about now you and my dad are having a perfectly grilled T-bone...lol

My prayers are with your family during this difficult time. RIP Joey

When we were in elementary school Joey would look over the seats at me and my sister Jana on the bus. In high school he always made sure Tracie and I made it home safe when I was a stupid teen. In adulthood Joey always made me laugh. His spirit was infectious. I will always remember that smile. He will be missed. Our prayers are with you.

The last time I saw Joey he was still a teenager. It's hard to beleive all the bad luck that befell him and then this tragic accident just before Christmas. I know from reading all of his facebook postings that Joey was a true believer Christ. Right now he is in heaven with no more pain and very thankful that he believed as strongly as he did. So don't be sad, just try to live the example he was and we will all join him at a later date. My sympathies are with all of the family. Gary M. Adams

I met Joey when I was 15 and that was 19 years ago. His love for life was extremely contagious. His smile could make any room bright and when he smiled you couldn't help but smile back. I have so many happy memories of him and those memories I will cherish. My thoughts are with the entire family...and know that when the sun is shining and you look into the sky....you will feel Joey's smile on you and may that feeling begin to mend the hole in your hearts. - Michelle Pugh, Thomasville (NC)

Joey has always had a special place in my heart. There are many memories -- from growing up as kids (camping at Lake Forest, spending a week at Myrtle Beach, enjoying Christmas at Nanny's) to Joey sharing his heart in regard to the mission trips to Belize and showing the love of Jesus to many friends & family. I love Joey, Aunt Jean, Big Bobby, Bobby Jr., Rhonda and the entire family. I know God will comfort you during this time. The joy & peace in Joey's absence is knowing he is at the feet of Jesus in Heaven & has reunited with Nanny and other loved ones that we all miss very much.

We want to say we are so sorry about Joey and Kim. They were our friends at Midway Bap. Church and were loved by everyone. It is our lost too. Joey was always positive and left you feeling good when you talked to him...he will be missed. Their seat was empty yesterday and very hard to pass without feeling the hurt. We know this is hard on you, but we feel he is in heaven walking the street of gold...happy with no more pain or crippled leg. He was always saying "I am getting better". Well he is well now. May it comfort you to know God loved him and so did we.
