I was a young woman, working in construction for Mountain Bell in the mid 1970s, at a nontraditional Stockman job when Joe was a foreman. His involvement at that time with Little Britches is still vivid in my memory. I was 20 at the time and remember him so vividly. I eventually moved on to different jobs and departments but have not forgotten Joe. I have often thought of Joe and what he went onto, many good things, which I expected him to do.
God Bless you all. Roxana Madrid

We will cherish the fond memories we have of knowing you guys. the Little Britches Rodeos, the dances and lets not forget the years Marv & Joe traveled the road to Steamboat Springs and back to Longmont-lol! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and yours.

Jan, since I don't have your address in Kansas, I'm sending my thoughts and prayers to you and your family in this way. Joe was a very special person - hard working and down to earth. My condolences. Glenna Havens-Mathes

I was very sorry to hear about Joe. Some of the most vivid memories I have are growing up as neighbors just NE of Longmont, sharing summer weekends and evenings at the Ride'em-Slide'em arena - enjoying an old-fashioned team roping jackpot. Things have changed since then but Joe's smile is embedded in my memory.
