CARROLL - Joseph Francis, on November 16, 2014 peacefully at home. Loving son of the late John and Catherine. Predeceased by his wife of 50 years, Marie B. Carroll (nee Sullivan) who died in 2003. Beloved father of Maryellen, Maureen Ann (Brady) Locher, John (Magaly), Joseph (Kerriann) and Jeanmarie (Jacquelyn). Adored grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Frank (Pat), their children and grandchildren, nieces and nephews and brother of the late Edward, John and Kieran. Fond brother-in- law of Michael J. (Kathy) Sullivan, their 4 children, their spouses and their 4 grandchildren. Reposing at the Beney Funeral Home of Syosset, 79 Berry Hill Rd. Visiting, Friday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Funeral Mass Saturday, 9:45am at St. Edward Confessor RC Church, 205 Jackson Ave., Syosset. Interment St. Charles Cemetery.

I knew Joe may years ago through a friend who was his brother-in-law. Joe was talented in so many ways, always made time to talk with you. If any of the family remembers me please feel free to get in touch.

Mr. Carroll was my (Lori Miller-Humbarger) Sunday School teacher in Madrid Spain. Attached is a picture taken (with Mr. Carroll, Father Sullivan, Mr. Carrolls' sons, Pat Ruhlmans' sons, my sister Robyn and I Lori) when we had a reunion held in Northern Virginia in 1992 for our parish members. Our sincerest condolences and sympathies to The Carroll Family. The Miller Family.
