Published by Legacy Remembers from Feb. 6 to Feb. 7, 2023.
Joseph M. Corriveau 1949 - 2023 Indiantown, FL Joseph M. Corriveau, 73, of Indiantown, FL, passed away on January 10, 2023. Joe was born in Springfield, MA on November 15, 1949 to the late Dr. Joseph V. Corriveau and Mary (Bettcher) Corriveau. Joe is survived by all who loved him including his children Monica McBride and her husband Ryan of Denver, CO and Rosanne Kane and her husband James of Bow, NH; his precious grandchildren Beau and Genevieve McBride, and James and Andrew Kane; his siblings Peter Corriveau of Memphis, TN, Denise Corriveau of Taos, NM, and Charlie Corriveau and his wife Patricia Mentiply of York, SC; his former wife and mother of his daughters Beverly Corriveau of Concord, NH; and his girlfriend Jane Belvin of Indiantown, FL. Joe graduated from Cathedral High School in Springfield, MA, class of 1967, and Fairfield University in Fairfield, CT. Joe enjoyed a 40-year career with Merriam-Graves/Airgas as a purchasing agent. Joe had a deep love for music, particularly the blues, and generously shared his piano and vocal talents with those around him. Joe spent his high school days playing with the Six Feet Under band and casually jammed throughout adulthood. He most recently spent his Friday nights entertaining the crowd at The Outpost in Indiantown, FL while live-streaming to friends and family across the country. While living in New Hampshire, Joe cherished his time playing the organ at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Concord, NH and eventually retired to Florida to spend time pursuing his passion for golf. While in Florida, Joe had the good fortune to enjoy both golf and music. By regularly performing for his local community, he continued sharing his love of music with others. Joe also traveled extensively throughout Europe in the last ten years of his life, with Portugal being a personal favorite. Joe's warm spirit and good humor radiated to all who knew him. His love and affection for his friends and family will be missed dearly. Funeral services will be held at the Concordia Lutheran Church in Concord, NH on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a memorial contribution to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

I worked for Joe on a temporary assignment at Merriam-Graves over twenty years ago. It was one of my first jobs as a teen, so he left an inedible impression on me on how to be a great supervisor. While I did not know him personally, he was undoubtedly a good guy based on numerous chats with him that summer. It saddens me to hear of his passing. My deepest condolences to his family.

Played Music with Joe long ago. I was a lousy musician. He was great musician but, he played with me anyway. He was well liked. Go rest high on that mountain...

Just learned of Joe's passing. Sorry to hear that, he was a class act, always gracious to us younger kids and always smiling. Will never hear Rascals without thinking of him.
My condolences to your family.

To Joe's Family and Friends, Your tribute is beautiful. Although I haven't seen Joey for decades, whenever a Rascal's song comes on my radio station, Joey's gentle, kind, and unassuming face appears in my mind. God bless this beautiful man, and his beautiful family.
Sending Lots of Love and Healing Prayers, Betsy Stephenson

Dearest Joe, it saddens me to say farewell. On January 10,1971 we shared an unbearable loss. A love never to nurture. And now 52 years to the day you took journey to Heaven for peaceful rest and comfort. Welcomed with open loving arms from a Little Angel. I´m heart broken. You were a sweet gentle soul so many wish they could be. A true friend .

I was a year behind Joe at CHS and did not know him personally. But to this day I remember his band Six Feet Under. They were a phenomenal band and Joe's keyboard playing was impeccable. My condolences to his family and friends.

To Joe's family and friends: I knew Joe in High School and he was one of the nicest guys I knew. He was always smiling, laughing, and offering help to any students who needed it. I was sorry to have lost touch with him afterwards. May the sorrow you are feeling pass quickly, leaving only the pleasant memories of your time together.

I had the honor & pleasure to share homeroom with Joe for 4 years @ CHS. We quickly became good friends & shared a love at that time for the " Young Rascals". Knowing his musical talents on keyboard, I quickly nicknamed & always referred to him as "Felix", after Felix Cavalieri. Such a good friend. May he RIP.
