Joseph Edouard Leo Desautels M.D. born November 20, 1928 at St. Boniface, Manitoba, died peacefully Sunday, November 12, 2017. Leo had a long career as a physician, both as a General Practitioner and Radiologist, and was an early practitioner in Vascular Radiology. Leo is survived by his wife Lona, brother Marcel, and children; Mark (Deborah), Bruce, Robert, Paula (Heather), Tod, Dane (Rhonda), Timothy (Janet), Michael (Katerina), Shaun, Karen and James. Leo is also survived by sixteen grandchildren. Funeral Mass is being celebrated at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church (1600 Acadia Drive S.E., Calgary, AB) today Friday, November 17, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Reception to follow at the church. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Leo Desautels, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.
