I worked with Joe at Bradley Fire Department for many years. He was always a kind and compassionate person to work with and always got along with everyone. When ever he saw anyone that he knew he was very enthusiastic about greeting them. In addition to his Career as a firefighter, he loved his work as a farmer and raising livestock. Joe, your pleasant demeanor will be missed. Rest in peace old friend.

You will be so missed by your family and friends. You were such a hard worker right up to the end. Even while undergoing dialysis you were still taking care of the cows and driving a herd here or there! Even after Dawn told you to take it easy. I just wish you weren´t in pain after the surgery and dialysis. You´re at peace now and no more pain ever again. I love you, Maryann

My heart grieves whenever a beloved person passes on from this world. I grieve more so when the person is a family member. My deepest condolences to the family. Joe's father was William Steph, a brother of my mother, Lorraine M Steph. I only have a vague recollection of meeting my cousins when they lived in Conn. I was probably about 7 years old in 1948 - 1949 when we drove down to visit Uncle Bill. RIP cousin. Jimmy

Condolences to Joe's entire family. I have many memories of him at the fire station and also in Granby with the cows. One thing nobody can deny is he was a hard worker his entire life. I'll miss his calls, always at the crack of dawn. Typical farmer.
RIP Joe
