I´m so sorry to read this. To all his family and friends I´m sorry for your loss. I´m at a loss for words. I´m one of the lucky ones that got to see Joey swim all through summer league and high school, he was amazing to watch and fun to hang out with. Later I had the pleasure of coaching his son. My deepest condolences.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. He was a great neighbor and an incredible coach, who shared his love of sports with the kids in the community. We send our prayers and our thoughts are with Kathryn and the kids and the rest of Joe's family.

Joey Fahy. Fahy Dog. Joey was my brother. When I think about Joey I immediately think of SHST and Drake High. So many memories of Joey it's hard to count them all. Still remember his dominant Butterfly and Breastroke swims, 50 free also. Still remember him crushing me in the IM at the 1995 MSL Champs by 3 seconds. Together we broke 5 team records that day and 4 still stand after 26 years! Fahy Dog was the greatest friend ever. We loved the Beastie Boys and we attended 3 concerts together. I can still hear him call me Bruiser or Bruise Dog. It was so awesome to see him again at Mark's 25th back in 2018. My heart goes out to the entire Fahy Family and to all who knew Joey for a single second. Joey will be missed.

So much love for Joe. He was so full of life, love, passion and gratitude. Always ended phone calls and voicemails with such loving words, mixed in with the most hysterical over the top comedy. I don´t think he missed sending me a birthday text in 20 something years. Big hugs to all his loved ones.

I was a good friend of Joe (Faded) at UC Santa Cruz, we had so much fun together freshman and sophomore year swimming, partying, goofing around and not studying etc. Over the last couple years, Joe and I have texted back and forth and I was planning to come and see him up north sometime soon with my wife and boys, so sad to hear of his passing. He was such an awesome and funny person with a personality that could never be missed, I will miss him greatly. Rest in peace my brother Joey! Love, Mike Kramer (Kramah)

To lose two brothers in one year is too much. So sorry for your enormous loss. Our daughters, Caroline and Alicia, were classmates with Mike and Joey

My heart is truly broken. It was a complete shock. I have very fond memories of Joe. Loved when he´d call my husband Chuckles. I will always remember him. He´s in my heart.
