On Wednesday, April 5, 2023, Joseph Glenn Finlayson, age 61, of District Heights, MD. Beloved son of Patricia Glenn Finlayson and the late Joseph Arnold Finlayson, Jr., Esq.; brother of Sheila Renee' Finlayson, Esq., the late Arnold Robert Finlayson, Esq. and the late Patria Michelle Finlayson. Also survived by son Joseph R. Brooks, daughter Leah A. Hart, other relatives and friends. Service will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023; visitation 10 a.m., service 11 a.m., McGuire Funeral Home, 7400 Georgia Ave. NW, Washington, DC. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Wow...this is really tough for me at this moment. As I look back to when we were younger, I can't help to remember the fun Joey and I had. I kept him laughing at all times...he always said, " DJ" you should be a comedian. I used to crack him up. I will miss his smile. What tremendous loss! Now, I have another friend in heaven.

Our deepest condolences and prayers going out to the Finlayson family. My twin sister and I used to babysit little Joey and Arnie when they were small children from Burns St DC. They were such precious, cute children. I have an old (not clear but want to share with you) photo of us with Joey and Arnie on Easter Sunday, way back in the 60s. May God comfort you at this time.
