FLEURY, Joseph Howard (Howie) 67 years, of Wallaceburg, suddenly at Sydenham Campus, on Saturday, January 24, 2004, with his family at his side. Loving husband and best friend of Carol (nee Rhea) for 43 years. Proud father of Wayne (Michelle) Fleury of Merlin, Ken Fleury (Doreen) of Chatham, Elaine (Rick) Martin of Tilbury, Jim (Penny) Fleury of Wallaceburg, Mike (Theresa) Fleury of Merlin, Darren "Homer" (Christine) Fleury of Chatham, and father-in-law to Candy Fleury of Chatham. Wonderful and proud pepe of Nicole and Matthew, Dawn Marie and Holly Lynn, Jennifer and friend John, Felicia, Michael and Tammy, Chelsea and Kurtis, Dylan and Rachel, Josh and Tyler, and many foster children. Predeceased by parents Lawrence Fleury (1974) and Lillian (Trepanier) Fleury (1993). Dear brother of Dorothy Alexander (2001), Victor Fleury (Ruth), Gilbert Fleury (Jeanette), Paul (Mary) Fleury, Robert "Pete" Fleury (1997), Noe (Dorinda) Fleury, Helen (Richard) Reaume, Doreen (George) Rempel, Adelore (Annette) Fleury, Edgar Fleury (Betty), Isidore (Linda) Fleury, Clifford Fleury. Brother-in-law of Dan Rhea (1989) and Al Rhea (1990). Will be sadly missed by his pal "Precious". Howard was retired from Rockwell (Arvin Meritor Canada) of Tilbury, a member of CAW Local 1941, and a devoted foster parent for many years. His love of life was travelling to Quebec with his many friends, camping, and enjoying life to the fullest. "At the moment of death we will not be judged according to the number of good deeds we have done. We will be judged according to the love we have shown and have given to our families." Visitation at Reaume Funeral Home, 6 Canal St. W., Tilbury from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Monday. Funeral service at the funeral home Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. Cre-mation to follow. Donations to Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.
