I met Joe in 1999 at the YMCA in downtown Pittsburgh. He was a super friendly, kind man who made coming to the Y so fun. We became good friends and was shocked to hear of his passing. I had moved away and never kept in touch which I feel badly about. Thinking of him and glad he is no longer in pain. RIP, Joe.

It is now April and we just heard about Joe. We were shocked and saddened to learn of this and send our sympathies to all of his family. He was a bright spot in the Club One regulars with a smile for everyone. We moved to Urban Active and he was one of the people we really missed. - Loretta and Bob Barone

Kelly and Steve although I am not in Pgh at this time, I have kept Joe in my prayers as I have stayed in touch with all back home. I will always see his smile when I look to your PEW and remember the warmth and love we've all shared at St. Lawrence and I will be there in spirit on Sat. as he goes home to OUR FATHER in Heaven. Kelly, I am very sorry to learn of your loss. When we were young our families got together often and it was always a good time. Unfortunately our meetings of late were only at family funerals. Please accept my sincerest sympathy. Nancy Hazlett, (Mitrecic) - cousin.
