Joseph Fritsch Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 29, 2020.
It is with profound sadness and deep sorrow that we announce the loss of our beloved Husband, Father, Brother, Uncle & Friend; Joseph Edward Fritsch.

Joseph, known as "Joe or Pop" to his family, Friends passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones at his home in Largo, Florida on June 28, 2020 after a short battle with cancer.

Joe honorably served in the Navy and was a decorated Vietnam Veteran of the United States Military. After retiring from active duty, Joe's career continued with his employment by The Federal Government for 17 years. Most recently, he worked for Standard Coffee Company where he won multiple Awards for Excellence in Service and Top Producer.

As an avid sports fan, he loved watching his favorite team, The University of Florida Gators take the field. In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, fishing & playing golf.

Joe touched many lives and was respected and adored by everyone who knew him. Most of all, he will always be lovingly remembered by his Wife of 31 Years, Beatrice Fritsch; Children: Eric Fritsch and Christina Nostro; Sister: Anna May Mayer along with various nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to the staff at the Suncoast Hospice for their care and compassion.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorial Donations may be made in Joseph Edward Fritsch's name to Suncoast Hospice; 2675 Tampa Road Palm Harbor, Florida 34684.

"To the living, I am gone. To the sorrowful, I will never return. To the angry, I was cheated but, to the happy, I am at peace and to the faithful, I have never left. I cannot speak, but I can listen. I cannot be seen, but I can be heard. So as you stand upon the shore gazing at a beautiful sea, Remember me.
As you look in awe at a mighty forest and it grand majesty, remember me. Remember me in your hearts, in your thoughts, and the memories of the times we loved. The times we cried, the battle I fought and the times we laughed. For if you always think of me, I will have never gone."
