Mr. Joseph Michael Gambino

Joseph Michael Gambino, of Philadelphia, passed away on December 3rd, 2021 at the age of 31. He was the beloved son of Bruce Gambino, and Michele Gambino (nee Ipri); loving brother of Stephanie Kane (the late Anthony); Jacqueline Gambino; and Brian Gambino (Laura). Joe was loving uncle to Padraic, Samuel, and Matthew. He will also be greatly missed by many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Joe proudly served our country as a Sailor in the United States Navy. He served on the USS Denver, and was deployed to Sasebo, Japan. He worked for Straube's Aircraft Services at the North East Airport. Joe was known for his sense of humor, and his caring nature. He was a great uncle, and a talented tattoo artist. His work can be seen on himself as well as some of his family members. Family and friends are invited to Joe's Life Celebration on Friday, December 10th from 9 – 10AM at the John F. Givnish Funeral Home, 10975 Academy Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154. A funeral mass will be held in Joe's Honor at St. Anselm's Church, 12670 Dunks Ferry Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19154 at 10:30 AM. Interment services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Joseph's name to the Wounded Warrior Project.
