Joseph GARGAS Obituary
On March 2, 2016, Joseph Gargas of Wildwood passed away suddenly at the age of 83 years.
Joseph is survived by his three sons and one daughter, Andy, Peter (Denise), Mary Ann (Bruce) Hodges and Jim (Leah); twelve grandchildren, Melissa, Ashley, Andrew, Marilyn, Justin (Rachel), Tyler, Madison, Gage, Hailey, Alexcene, Ryleigh and Joedan; six great-grandchildren, Taylor, Kodie, Teagan, Cayden, Colton and Cohen; one sister, Anne Kotyk; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his wife, Nancy; his parents, Wasyl and Kataryna; one grandson, Brydan; three brothers, Michael, John and Bill; and two sisters, Rose and Mary.
Prayers Wednesday, March 9 at 6:00 p.m. at Park Memorial Chapel, 9709 – 111 Avenue, Edmonton.
Funeral Service Thursday, March 10 at 11:00 a.m. at Wildwood Community Hall, 4916 – 51 Avenue, Wildwood. Interment in St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association – Northern Leadership Centre, 104 -12220 Stony Plain Road, Edmonton, AB T5N 3Y4.
