To Joes family,
I have very fond memories of Jo. He was two years below me in school and he was such a great, funny person with a personality all his own. I am only hoping that his personality is instilled in his daughters and they will always have him with them. His life was cut to short and even after not seeing him for 12-17 yrs, I still remember him with some great memories because he treated all people the same and found goodness in all when he was searching so deep within himself. He was kind and genuine and not many people can express that in themselves. For his wife, I met you many years ago when you were with joey back home and he was so proud to call you his wife. To his daughters, I know that your dad will always be with you in spirit and memories and those are one thing no one can take away. I hear time make things easier, but I only wish that time can bring you peace within yourselves to carry on and know how much you were all loved by someone very special, Joe. May peace be with you all and my God be within you always. Kim Nipe-Gruenhagen

To G, his family, his friends and to those who were closest to him... my deepest regards, I know that you are deeply saddened. To Jasmine and Jade; no words can express the loss you feel. The love, friendship & relationship you had with your Dad is the most important and endearing one you will ever know. Please know that everyone's thoughts and prayers are with with now and for always. May the tears I shed for a friend so close, may the ache in our souls from all who will miss your Dad and the memories that we all share and express somehow comfort you both and lift some of your pain away.
To G, thank you for all the years of friendship and laughter, thank you for loving my friend, thanks for being such a wonderful father to your beautiful girls, thank you for touching so many souls and thank you for the music you brought to all of our lives. We miss you and we will never forget you. You'll always be in our hearts and minds.

With deepest sympathy, Joe was a wonderful friend during our school years at BHS. I will always remember the smell of his locker next to mine, needless to say he always brought a smile to my face. God be with you all and your in my prayers. Class of 1988!!
