Joseph Hentschel Obituary

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. – Joseph Charles Hentschel, 73, died Monday, Oct. 31, 2005, in Huntersville Oaks.
He was born in Mt. Vernon, Ala., May 27, 1932, the son of the late John Lawrence and Bennett Leona Tutt Hentschel. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his wife, Nell Francis Hentschel, and four brothers, Frank Hentschel, Cecil Agnew Hentschel, William Travis Hentschel and Robert Leveme Hentschel.
Survivors include one daughter, Carla Lynette Hentschel; one son and daughter-in-law, Joseph Lawrence and Amy Hentschel of Stanley, N.C.; one granddaughter, Laci Nell Hentschel of Stanley; two sisters, Dr. Susie Hentschel Shephard of Mt. Vernon and Sophie Hentschel Platt of Mobile, Ala.; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Joseph Charles Hentschel will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 4, 2005, in the Frost Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Stan Green officiating. Burial will follow in Knollkreg Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the Frost Funeral Home Friday from 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.
