Dear MaryKay,

Your struggle over the past year in traveling to Pittsburgh to see your father as often as possible during his poor health was, I'm sure, appreciated by your father and family. Somehow your father knew you were there as often as possible to see him. He's at peace now and you and your family must thank the Lord for that. Now is the time to celebrate his life and not to grieve. Although I didn't know him, I know you well enough to imagine he was a wonderful, caring man - that is most definitely something to celebrate. Take care of your Mom now - her feeling of loss will be even greater than yours. Big hugs!!!
