Joseph D. Jacob, 87, passed away on Jan. 14, 2011 in Stuart, FL. Born on Dec. 13, 1923, he resided in Stuart, FL and Glenview, IL for the past 11 years. Prior to retiring, he was the C.E.O. of Jacob Anodizing Corp. in Chicago. He was a member of Carter-Westminster Church in Skokie and The International Brotherhood of the Masons. Joe was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Grace (Careb) Jacob in 1999. Surviving him is his wife, Wilma (Oraham) Jacob; his sons, David Jacob, and Mark (Liz) Jacob; his grandchildren, Abby and Lucas; his brothers, Jacque (Nora) Jacob, Pete (Dottie) Jacob; sister, Julie Golpashin; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 22, 2011, 10:30 a.m., Carter-Westminster Church, 4950 Pratt Ave., Skokie, 847-673-4441. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Carter-Westminster Church in Joe's memory.

Hey Cousin Osho - I guess it was time to join the others on the other side. I pray that your transition was peaceful, and your reunion joyous. Of course, we are sad and will miss you. But even life has its term limits. May your soul and all your surviving family be blessed. We had a good time, our great big family. Rest in peace. XXOO Cousin Carol
