At the funeral home last evening I was reminded of something that Mr Kearney said to us on the occasion of his 90th birthday. He was sitting at our community pool watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren with a look of wonder on his face. He turned to Joe and I and said "Look at all that Marian and I started!" He was so proud of all of you! The Kearneys are a very special family and I'm sure that you all know how lucky you are to be a part of it! So keep up the good work....because Joe and Marian are still watching!

I am so sorry to hear about this loss. What a perfect world I had the opportunity to grow up in with the Kearneys as neighbors and friends. My favorite Irishman ever. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Love , Paula and John.

I knew joe from daily mass at St Margaret's, also Marion. A lovely
Lady. He was our alter Boy'. Always happy and friendly I miss them both. My sympathy to all the family.

Dear Kearney Cousins
You are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time. The Kearney/McGough cousins were quite a force in their day. I have many happy memories of them. I hope that your smiles will replace your tears quickly.

To the Kearney family,
I am very sorry to hear the passing of Joe. He was such a kind, thoughtful and gentle man. I had the pleasure to serve him meals while I was at Brookdale. May he rest in peace.
