Dad, it has been over a year since you are gone. I miss you every day and think about you all of the time. You made me the kind of man I am today. I am proud to say that. I know you are looking down at me and my family and smiling. It is because of you and Mom who I am today. I was fortunate to have a father like you and now to have my family. I can only hope that I am the father that you were to me. All my Love, Chub

Joe was one of the really good guys. He was someone you could talk straight to, without holding back, and he would tell you straight up what he thought about what you said. He might not agree with what you said, or like what you said, but that did not matter, as long as you were honest. It is hard to find that kind of honesty, and it was one of his gifts to those he knew.

I will miss his sense of humor; lots of luck for those he will meet in Heaven. I truly feel lucky to have had him for a friend. I get comfort knowing he will be looking out for me from above, and maybe giving things a little push my way to help me as I live my life.

Goodbye Joe. You were a good friend.

Papa,
There isn't a day that goes by when I don't think of you. You and Grams are one of the main reasons why our family is so close. I'm going to miss all our family gatherings with you making everyone laugh or even when I just come to visit and say hello. You were such a great man to everyone and especially Grams. I can't thank you enough for the way you have shaped me as a person and I hope to keep making you proud. You will always be my buddy and I'm gonna miss you so much papa.
Love your grandson
