Joseph Kremer Obituary
Joseph H Kremer, 86, of Denver, Colorado, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2024.
He was born April 12, 1938 to Joseph Peter and Louise (nee Ackerman) Kremer and raised in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin with his five siblings: Joan, Lois Berwig, John, Theodore, and Robert.
Joe attended Marquette University, majoring in Economics with a minor in Philosophy. He moved to San Francisco to start a 17 year career with Del Monte Foods. This was interrupted by two stints in the US Army, where he made lifelong friends from the Bay Area. Through this friend group, he met and married the love of his life, Joyce (nee Kurtz) in 1967.
He is survived by Joyce and their three children: Matthew ("Matt," married to Jennifer, nee Tarble), Andrew ("Alf," married to Rick Amick) and Julia ("Julie," married to Patrick Greb). Lydia (Matt and Jennifer) Kremer is their only grandchild.
A career path change brought the family to Denver, CO, where Joe worked for many advertising and marketing firms. He also worked as the Executive Director for the National Repertory Orchestra and Breckenridge Music Festival, and AMC Cancer Research (now a part of the University of Colorado Anschutz campus). He was very proud of his volunteer work as a board member for the Salvation Army in the Denver Metro area.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM Wednesday, January 22nd at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2626 E 7th Avenue Pkwy, Denver, CO 80206.
