Joseph A. Lapczynski

Piscataway, NJ – Joseph A. Lapczynski, 81, a lifelong resident of Piscataway, passed away peacefully at his lake house on Tuesday, December 16, 2014. For over fifty years as a general contractor, Joseph owned and operated the family business; Al-Rite Construction of Piscataway. Predeceased by his parents George and Helen (Cevenick) Lapczynski and his brother Mike, Joseph leaves behind his loving and devoted family; wife Jane M. (Marhelko) of fifty-nine years and their children; Joseph M. Lapczynski, Mary Ann Gengo and her husband Rich, Ronald Lapczynski and his wife Lisa and daughter Teri. Joseph will be missed dearly by his eight cherished grandchildren; Carrie and husband Kevin, Mark and wife Meredith, Jason and wife Lauren, Meaghan, Thomas, Michael, Steven and Ryder and by his sister and six brothers. Visitation will take place in the Middlesex Funeral Home, 528 Bound Brook Road, Middlesex, NJ 08846 on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 2-4 pm and 7-9pm and on Saturday, December 20, 2014 from 8:00 am until 8:30 am. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2014 beginning 9:30 am at St. Frances Cabrini Roman Catholic Church in Piscataway. At the request of the family, burial will take place privately. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Frances Cabrini Roman Catholic Church would be greatly appreciated.
